Before School Care Program (7:30 am to 8:30 am)

Rainbow Montessori School responds to the needs of families whose schedules require an early start. Before School Care children engage in a variety of activities such as reading, drawing, arts and crafts, working from the shelves and computers. The class size is small and allows for teacher/student interaction. The goal of the program is to provide care for the children and to ease transition into the daily academic programs.

After School Care Program (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm)

This extended program carries the Montessori principles beyond the end of the academic school day. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, and the schedule is paced to include periods of stimulating outdoor play, shelf work, arts and crafts, story time, line time, creative games and special projects. As the day winds down, we are responsive to the needs of our children with quiet story times, shelf work, tabletop games, and increased individual attention.
